INTRODUCTION:
Mkulazi Holding Co. Ltd (MHCL) is a company owned by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Prisons Corporation Sole (PCS). The Company was established on 6th September 2016. The main objective of the company is to undertake production of sugar in Tanzania. To start with, MHCL plans to develop two sugar estates in Morogoro region of which one will be located at Mkulazi area, Morogoro District (Mkulazi Estate) and the other in Mbigiri, Dakawa in Kilosa District (Mbigiri Estate).
The company wishes to invite competent, qualified, experienced and dedicated Tanzanians to fill in the following vacancy positions currently available in the Company. WOMEN ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR THESE POSITIONS as follows:
OPERATOR – OVERHEAD CRANE (MILL HOUSE RIGGERS) -1 POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to guide cranes during operations and shall be reporting to Supervisor – Shift Boilers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Operates mobile Observes load limits;
Estimates safe loads of equipment/component/material to be lifted;
Does rigging work;
Send mobile crane to garage for servicing and repair;
Communicates any problems to the Supervisor;
Obeys safety standards;
Operate fire equipment; and
Performing any other lawfully duties assigned by supervisor.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
Form IV plus Driving Certificate and driving license with two (2) years’ experience.
Salary Scale: B2
ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER -1 POSITION:
The Job Purpose is to plan, co-ordinate and effectively manage technical and administrative activities in the electrical and instrumentation section so as to achieve set goals during both crushing and off-crop periods in the most efficient and cost effective way. He/she shall be Reporting to Chief Processor.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
To Prepares and monitor sectional budget and takes corrective action on variances;
Maintains electrical systems;
Plan and monitor High and Low Distribution Lines’ installations in the Estate;
Performs all tasks according to the company’s set performance standard quality, safety, health, environment policies and procedures;
Timely orders delivery of all required items for off crop maintenance season;
Plans, coordinates and allocates tasks to his/her subordinates;
Monitors power generation/imports to or from the milling plant effectively;
Ensures process control is optimized;
Ensures factory instruments are tested and calibrated;
Identifies, designs and implements improvement to process control systems and electrical systems;
Retains and update technical records of all instrumentation and electrical equipment;
Ensures that the electrical equipment and services are functioning correctly during operational periods;
Ensures practicality and alignment of the company’s integrated risk management system in carrying out his/her duties;
Takes all necessary measures to ensure that legal and statutory requirements are known and complied with;
Monitors and conduct performance reviews of direct reports and Identifies skills gaps of his subordinates with the view to proposing development plans;
Collaborate with HR Department to ensure recruitment of new staff is facilitated effectively;
Recommends appropriate disciplinary action for breach of disciplinary code of conduct;
Improves personal effectiveness and productivity of his/her direct reports; and
Perform any other lawful duties assigned from time to time.
Academic qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/lnstrumentation or equivalent qualifications; Must be registered with a professional body. He/She should have Four (4) years’ experience in high and low electric distribution line; and experience in sugar processing and/or cane production is an added advantage.
Salary Scale: D2.
PHARMACETICAL ASSISTANT (REVIEWED) -1 POSITION:
The job purpose is to dispense drugs prescribed by physician and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medication and their use reporting to Medical services Manager.
Key Roles & Responsibilities.
Dispenses prescription medication and other medical products to patients under direction of licensed pharmacist;
Counts pills, labels bottles, prices, and compounds medications to prepare prescriptions for patients as directed;
Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, and restocking inventory;
Gathers, organizes and assesses patient information;
Supplies patients with information and education on their prescriptions;
Monitors prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy policies;
Liaises with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information;
Answers patients’ questions about their medications;
Takes inventory of drugs on hand and records results;
Places orders for additional drugs;
Maintains electronic patient information;
Prepares billing information for medications;
Completes patients’ sales transactions for purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other pharmaceutical products; and
Perform any other lawfully duties assigned by supervisor.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of certificate in Pharmaceutical from a recognized Institution with valid license to practice the professional. He/She should have a minimum of two (2) years working as Pharmaceutical Assistant.
Salary Scale: B3.
General condition:
All applicants should have accomplished Secondary School Education and possess an Ordinary Certificate or an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent and should not be above 45 years of age.
